Handloom & Handicraft Sales Center – Department of Industries

The Sales Center of the Department of Industries, situated in Batticaloa town, displays mainly wonderful handloom products: Sarees, bedsheets, sarongs, tablecloths, etc., of high quality fabric and magnificent colors. These are made in 22 village production centers all around the district and give employment to around 60 people. One of the best places to buy long lasting colourful souvenirs from Batticaloa!
